Traditional LayoutsClean and timeless
The classic checkerboard tile layout has defined elegant interiors for centuries and remains one of today’s most enduring flooring trends.
Its balanced geometry creates a sophisticated foundation that complements both traditional and contemporary spaces.
Diagonal LayoutsDynamic by Design
Installing checkerboard tile on a 45-degree angle adds movement while making rooms feel larger and more open.
This designer-favorite layout brings architectural character and a fresh perspective to the timeless checkerboard pattern.
Tone-on-ToneA Modern Classic
Pairing two complementary marble tones creates a softer interpretation of the traditional checkerboard floor.
The subtle contrast adds depth, texture, and understated luxury, making it ideal for modern, minimalist, and transitional interiors.
Porcelain Made for the Checkerboard Look
Bring the classic checkerboard pattern indoors or out with versatile porcelain tile. Durable, low-maintenance, and available in complementary tones, porcelain makes it easy to create a timeless checkerboard floor for kitchens, living spaces, patios, pool areas, and beyond.
